How It Works

Each MesoGold 20 treatment is customized to deliver optimal treatment for your skin. By selecting 1 of 3 different needle lengths, specific depths of the skin can be targeted. Mesotherapy cocktails are selected and combined to address issues such as pigmentation, brow spots/UV damage, uneven skin colour, acne scars, stretch marks, hair loss, and overall skin rejuvenation.

Hyaluronic Acid:

This naturally occurring molecule plumps and hydrates the skin, providing a soft, smooth, and healthy glow.

Neuromodulators:

Also known as micro-Botox injections, MesoGold 20 delivers small aliquots of Botox or Dysport below the skin’s surface resulting in a more homogeneous, smooth appearance with improved tone and smaller pore size.

Exosome Regenerative Complex+:

This powerful combination of stem cell signaling exosomes upregulate the body’s ability to heal and rejuvenate tissue. Combined with powerful vitamins, minerals, growth factors, coenzymes, and peptides, this complex allows for quicker healing and exponential collagen production.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP):

The ultimate in customized mesotherapy, PRP utilizes platelets that contain growth factors from a patient’s own blood to stimulate stem cells and produce new collagen in the skin. This improves skin texture, tone, fine lines, and “crepey skin”.

Pre-Treatment

For best results and to minimize the chance of bruising, avoid the following prior to treatment:

Ibuprofen/Advil, Aspirin, multivitamins, fish oils, and vitamin D/E for 3 days

Consult with your doctor prior to stopping prescribed blood thinners or aspirin

Alcohol for 3 days

Smoking for 2 days prior and 2 weeks after treatment

The treatment area will be cleansed thoroughly and a concentrated topical numbing cream applied for your comfort. The treatment takes 20 to 30 minutes depending on areas we are targeting.

Post-Treatment

Once at home, the skin will need TLC for a few days. Gentle cleansing, healing serums or topical treatments, and sunscreen are imperative. Mineral makeup can be worn 24 hours after MesoGold 20, but it’s always best to wait to apply makeup for as long as possible. There are various medical and pharmaceutical grade cleansers, post treatment recovery topicals, and sunscreens that can ensure you are nourishing and protecting your skin as it heals over the week post treatment.

If you have a history of herpes simplex virus or cold sores, I will provide you with a dose of prophylactic antiviral medication to take orally either right before or after treatment to avoid a flare up.
